A car is strongly recommended for most outings and shopping trips. We’re in a wonderfully peaceful spot surrounded by nature, but that also means that shops, larger villages and places of interest aren’t all just around the corner.

How peaceful is the area?

Very peaceful.🌿 Au double moulin is situated in the heart of the countryside, away from busy roads and large towns. You come here mainly for the peace and quiet, the space and the French countryside.

Are there other guests on the estate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when several gîtes are booked, there will be other guests on the estate. The various accommodation units have their own private areas and terraces, whilst some facilities are shared, such as the swimming pool and tennis court.

How much privacy do we have?

You’ll enjoy plenty of space and privacy on the estate. As we live on the estate ourselves and there are several gîtes, Au double moulin isn’t a completely secluded private retreat.Above all, we try to strike a good balance: we’re there when you need us, but we’re discreet whilst you’re enjoying your holiday. 🌿

Is Au double moulin suitable for families with children?

Everyone is welcome at Au double Moulin, but due to the natural surroundings – including the river, ponds and uneven ground – we ask for extra attention to safety. Children must therefore always remain under adult supervision.

What is and isn’t included in the rental price?

Accepted Answer

The rental price includes bed linen and towels, water, electricity and heating (for normal use), access to the swimming pool and tennis court, Wi-Fi, final cleaning and private parking.Not included are, amongst other things, the security deposit, pool towels, and any arrival, family or premium packages.

What happens if I need to cancel my stay?

Cancellations can only be made in writing via email. The refund depends on when the cancellation is made:More than 60 days before arrival: the full deposit will be refunded.Between 60 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.Less than 30 days before arrival: the deposit will be charged in full.Less than 14 days before arrival: the full cost of the stay is due.In the event of early departure: no refund will be made.Even in cases of force majeure on the part of the tenant, such as illness, transport problems, pandemics or weather conditions, the payment obligations remain in force. Cancellation insurance is therefore strongly recommended.

Can I still change my booking after making a reservation?

Certainly!😊 Changes can be discussed wherever possible. Please let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll work with you to see what’s possible. We always try to be as flexible as possible in this regard.

What happens if Au double moulin has to cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

If we are forced to cancel your booking due to exceptional circumstances, we will, of course, inform you as soon as possible.We will then work with you to find a suitable solution. If we cannot find a suitable solution, the amount already paid will be refunded in accordance with our terms and conditions.
